The next KOFF Roundtable discussion will address strategies for navigating shrinking civic spaces and strengthening civil society. Participants will explore obstacles and challenges, as well as experiences, approaches, and strategies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This interactive roundtable will feature a combination of expert inputs and group discussions, moderated by Cornelia Tobler, KOFF Coordinator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Countries of the Global South are often classified as “underdeveloped” and in need of aid, in contrast to countries of the Global North. Such notions of development are partly based on racist stereotypes rooted in the colonial era. Mission 21 will critically examine images and language in international (“development”) cooperation and identify anti-racist alternatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At Platform Weltsicht, church staff and other interested individuals will gain insight into the various activities carried out by mission 21. This will take place as part of Mission 21’s 2025 campaign, which focuses on interreligious cooperation for peace and justice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
