Ilanz Summer – “Sich für den Frieden Stärken“

What does peace look like today? How is an opinion formed? How do I recognize fake news? How much courage does it take to express your opinion in your own neighborhood, at the local pub, in Iran, or as a woman in India? Should I stay silent for the sake of peace or even avoid those who think differently?
A three-day series of events hosted by the Forum for Peace Culture in Ilanz will explore these important questions through panel discussions, workshops, films, and reflections. The in-depth theme will focus on the many facets of the diversity of voices and the constitutionally guaranteed freedom of opinion. People of all generations are welcome. We seek dialogue, listen, dive in, and encounter fascinating personalities who will stimulate deeper engagement with their contributions. The spectrum and possibilities of a lived peace culture are remarkable; all participants will leave empowered to face current challenges.
