Against the backdrop of the current situation in Israel and the Palestinian territories of Gaza and the West Bank, Coexistences has welcomed two mixed Israeli-Palestinian groups and will host a third and final group in December. The main purpose of these stays is to create a benevolent, multi-perspective space where these groups and their facilitators can deepen their work, foster their inner dynamics, and experience an intense, approximately ten-day coexistence away from the conflict.

In August, two groups of eleven participants each spent time in the Romandy region: one group consisted exclusively of social workers, and the other was made up of professionals from various sectors. They were able to regain energy, find healing, and strengthen the personal and collective resources they need to continue their social engagement.

Coexistences also financially supports the local activities of the working group that emerged from the project “Strengthening the Facilitators of the Israeli-Palestinian Dialogue” 2022-2023.
