For the second time, the Sufosec Alliance, of which SWISSAID is a member, has published its global nutrition report titled “Sustainable Nutrition Starts Locally.” Based on scientifically analyzed data from about 125,000 households, the report highlights the importance of agroecology as a means to improve global food security. Using data from approximately 125,000 households, it provides scientific evidence of the significance of agroecology in the fight against hunger. The results are promising, but many challenges remain. On October 16, 2024, the World Food Day, the Alliance presented the report to the public at an event in Bern.
