The core tasks of the intern are the composition of smaller and larger texts and the management of the website. Femicides are a problem that concern society as a whole, but there are ways for better protection for women from violence by men. Julia Cruschwitz and Carolin Haentjes have talked to various professionals and affected women for their book "Femizide – Frauenmorde in Deutschland". After the readings a discussion will take place.

Every second week a woman or a person who is read as a woman is killed in Switzerland, because she is a woman or is read as a woman.The focus of this years 16-day-campaign are feminicides. The campaign informs about these feminicides with its different aspects as form of gender-based violence. Moreover, it demands various measures to end this killing. Different events will take place all over Switzerland.
