The project “Promoting and Protecting Democracy in Guinea-Bissau: Freedom of Expression and the Fight Against Disinformation,” launched in April 2025, is implemented by the Media Foundation for West Africa (MFWA), in partnership with Reporters Without Borders (RSF) and Fondation Hirondelle, with funding from the European Union.
In this project, Fondation Hirondelle will focus on training and support in fact-checking and combating hate speech, as well as coaching for the production of high-quality content.
