This year, the Tour de Lorraine is dedicated to peace and war, violence and non-violence, security and solidarity. The Swiss Platform for Peacebuilding KOFF is actively involved and is organizing various events. We are pleased that so many KOFF members are facilitating workshops and cordially invite you to take part in the Tour de Lorraine!

Women’s rights and Gender-Based Violence :

The remaining fights in the Global North and South

27.04.2023, 7:30pm, Neuchâtel Hub (Eirene Suisse)

A roundtable will be organized in the Neuchâtel Hub for Eirene Suisse’s 60th anniversary to exchange ideas among professionals on how to reduce gender-based violence.
Speakers :

  • Michèle Michaud, Eirene Suisse volunteer for 3 years with the Mary Barreda association in Nicaragua;
  • Karla Laguna, lawyer specialized in women’s rights in Nicaragua;
  • Grégory Jaquet, former volunteer of Eirene Suisse working on gender violence and head of the Multicultural Cohesion Service in Neuchâtel;
  • Martine Docourt, National Councilor and Co-President of the Swiss Socialist Women;
  • Morgan Léchot, Deputy Secretary General of Latitude 21 – Development Cooperation of Neuchâtel.

GSoA General Assembly

The 42nd plenary meeting of the GSoA will take place on 14 May. As usual, it will be held in the founding location of the GSoA, the Restaurant Kreuz in Solothurn. Women for Peace Annual Assembly

19.05.2023, 10am-4pm, Saal des Hauses der Begegnung, Mittelstrasse 6a, Bern (Catholic church in Bern)

Women for Peace invites you to their annual meeting. In the afternoon, Stefan Manser Egli will present the naturalization initiative “Vierviertel”, which fights for a basic right to naturalization. This will be followed by a discussion.
