The CAS “Arts and International Cooperation” brings artists and members of international cooperation organizations from the Global South and North together. They have an interest in the potential of art to support processes of social transformation and peacebuilding, as well as the commitment to a fair and sensitive common international cooperation in common. Through a visit on-site, they gain insights into concrete art projects in fragile contexts and reflect these based on instruments and concepts from current literature. The participants end the course with a supervised thesis related to an individual project or working context.
