With its new pilot scheme “CAREer,” SOS-Kinderdorf will be active in Switzerland for the first time. It targets care leavers: young adults who have spent part of their life in a children’s home, a collective housing, or a host family. Sos-Kinderdorf seeks to create a voluntary, free and low-threshold offer in the canton of Bern that is not tied to any obligations or requirements. SOS-Kinderdorf is implementing this project with other partners, including the foundation YOU COUNT. The relief organization will offer a first detailed overview of this project in a webinar in March.
