To implement UN Security Council Resolution 1325 (Women, Peace and Security), Switzerland has adopted several National Action Plans (NAP 1325) since 2007. The fourth action plan is currently being drawn up. Therefore there is a public consultation on the Swiss Action Plan 1325 regarding women, peace and security.

swisspeace/KOFF produced in cooperation with its partners Honduras Forum Schweiz, Peace Brigades International Honduras and Plataforma contra la Impunidad, an audiovisual memory of the psychosocial learning community for human rights defenders, which took place in August 2017 in Honduras. The psychosocial learning community convened human rights defenders from Nicaragua, Guatemala, El Salvador and Honduras in a safe space to exchange their knowledge and experiences. The promoters of this initiative consider that the current situation in Honduras requires this message of solidarity and hope, in order to support human rights defenders, who continue their work, accepting high risks in a very critical context regarding the protection of rights.

Migration leads to conflicts and conflicts lead to migration. Both causalities appear to be intuitively comprehensible and are integrated into day-to-day discourse. Nevertheless, the connection between these two phenomena is more complex than it initially seems and it runs the risk of being manipulated for political purposes. This issue therefore outlines the interactions between migration and peacebuilding from various perspectives.
