Sustainable and practical digital security for Human Rights Defenders

The consequences of a digital breach can be deadly for human rights defenders. This workshop will review the digital security landscape and provide specific, flexible methods and tools to assess, prevent, and respond to security breaches and attacks. It will focus on mobile phone security, which is the primary communication and work device of many human rights defenders, who, during the pandemic, have become, in many parts of the world, more vulnerable to digital attacks when they suddenly had to shift most of their work online.

The Directors of these five organizations make up the Steering Committee that oversees the Management Committee.
